Resisting What’s Good For You? Here’s Why – Episode 3

Anastasiya: In our search for life balance we often wonder why it is so difficult to stick to healthy habits, to do what we know is good for us. We know that we have to eliminate time traps out of our schedule and yet we keep checking email a hundred times a day, watching TV shows faithfully and chatting on facebook. We keep making bad food choices and get tired before we even think about exercise. Why are we so hard-wired into making not-so-good choices?
As part of our Live a More Balanced Life Challenge I wanted to bring a special guest for you. Susan Johnstone is a life coach who specializes in transforming procrastination, self-sabotage and obstacles of all kinds into powerful fuel for transformation. She is also a contributor here, on BalanceInMe. She has something very important to tell you today.

Don’t forget to complete your homework and ask your questions in the comments below.
Some of the things you resist make sense. But when you’re resisting or putting off things that you KNOW are good for you and you know you WANT to do them, it just doesn’t seem logical, does it?
I’m going to let you in on 2 things about how your internal “wiring” works and once you know them, not only will your crazy resistance make sense, but you’ll be able to stop being so hard on yourself for it.
